How to Read a WeedHub Review
WeedHub reviews capture more than a rating. Learn to read the context behind each experience to find what you're actually looking for.
Why context matters
The cannabis experience is deeply contextual. The same strain can produce very different effects depending on whether you consumed it in the morning before work, at night to relax, alone or with friends, with high or low tolerance. That's why WeedHub asks each reviewer to capture the method, moment, and setting — not just a 1–5 rating.
The six rating dimensions
Overall: the global impression of the experience. Potency: how intense the effect was relative to expectations. Flavor: the sensory experience during consumption. Aroma: the fragrance before and during consumption. Appearance: the visual quality of the flower or product. Effects: how well it produced the effects you were looking for. Together, these dimensions give you a much richer profile than a single number.
Filter by context similar to yours
If you're looking for something to consume at night alone to unwind, the most relevant reviews are those where the reviewer indicated 'Night' and 'Solo' as their context. If you're a beginner, look for reviews from people who indicated low consumption frequency. The profile of each review gives you clues about whether the experience is comparable to what you'd have.
Reported effects vs. expected effects
The effects listed on a strain's profile (Relaxation, Euphoria, Focus) are an average of what the community reported. Everyone has a different endocannabinoid system — what produces 'Calm' in one person may produce 'Energy' in another. Read reported effects as statistical trends, not guarantees. Individual reviews give you the qualitative texture that averages can't capture.
